AFTER'S STORY

After Chicago opened in October 2022, right next door to two-Michelin-starred restaurant Ever. Now Chef Curtis Duffy and After are in partnership with the award-winning creative team at Mr Lyan Studio, led by Ryan Chetiyawardana. Together reinventing what a cocktail bar can be—seasonal, boundary-pushing drinks, grounded in technique, built for fun. After is where culinary precision meets barroom revelry—because a great drink shouldn’t just impress you, it should move you. Guests can enjoy creative small plates alongside unmatched cocktails along with non-alcoholic renditions. 

Reservations are available but by no means required, walk-ins are encouraged. Many of Ever's guests enjoy cocktails before or after their experience, but After is a neighborhood spot for regulars in the growing West Fulton Market neighborhood of Chicago.

After was named one of the United States' Top 15 bars by Food & Wine in spring 2024. In 2023, Esquire put After on their Best Bars in America list. The New York Times featured After in their 2023 "36 Hours in Chicago."
